Date: 01/12/1446 Implementation of Discretionary Punishment Against Two Defendants in Takhar Province
According to the ruling of the Primary Court of Chah Ab District in Takhar Province, discretionary punishment (taʿzir) was carried out today, Thursday, 1/12/1446 AH, against two individuals—including one woman—accused of committing adultery.
The Primary Court had sentenced one of the defendants to one year of imprisonment and 30 lashes, and the second defendant to six months of imprisonment and 30 lashes as discretionary punishment.
This ruling of the Primary Court was implemented after being approved by the High Authority of the Supreme Court.
