The sentence of discretionary punishment for two individuals in Samangan Province was executed based on the decision of the Primary Court of Hazrat Sultan District, Samangan Province, including one woman, for the crime of absconding from home and the accusation of committing adultery. On 19/12/1446 AH, the sentence of discretionary punishment was enforced.

The Primary Court had sentenced the two individuals to 39 lashes each as discretionary punishment; this decision was implemented after confirmation by the High Authority of the Supreme Court. The sentence of discretionary punishment was carried out in the presence of officials of the Emirate’s departments, Mujahideen, and the general public in the courtyard of the mentioned district.
