Local sources in Ghor say that the Taliban have closed a language training center in Lal and Sarjangal districts of the province and arrested its teachers. Sources told Hasht-e Subh on Saturday, January 25, that the Taliban had closed the "New Horizon" training center in Lal and Sarjangal districts of Ghor. Sources clarified that the Taliban arrested and took away four people, including a woman, after the closure of the English language training center. Sources add that the Taliban have cited the education of girls above the sixth grade as the reason for this move. The Taliban in Ghor have not yet commented on the incident.m Earlier, the Taliban had closed educational centers in Ghor province and arrested a number of teachers.
