Sources report that the Taliban intelligence agency in Panjshir has asked local representatives for a list of former military personnel, including members of the 01 and 02 National Security units, as well as those who have worked with foreigners. According to these sources, the Taliban have detained several individuals from the Anaba district and taken them to an undisclosed location.

The sources indicated that most of these individuals were farmers and former employees of foreign organizations, and the Taliban have demanded money and weapons from them. The Taliban has not yet made any official statements regarding this matter.

The Taliban have previously been accused by human rights organizations of widespread human rights violations in Panjshir province. These organizations have stated that the Taliban have tortured, beaten, and killed civilians.
