Execution of punitive sentences on more than two individuals in the Char Sadah district of Ghor province.

Decree Translation

According to Decision No. (93) dated 01/09/1444, the leadership of the Char Sadah district court and the esteemed guidance of the chief judge and head of the appellate court, on 1/9/1444, under the leadership of Maulvi Abdul Hai, the head of the district court of Char Sadah district of Ghazni province, punitive sentences were applied to more than two individuals for the crime of illegitimate activities. This sentence was executed in public and with the participation of Taliban leadership officials in this province.

Notes on Decree

The public execution of punitive sentences by Taliban officials in Ghazni reflects the continued use of corporal punishment without transparent legal process. Vaguely defined charges and public implementation raise serious concerns about arbitrary justice and the violation of fundamental human rights.
