Eleven Convicted Individuals Given Discretionary Punishment by the Kabul Primary Court for the Prevention of Narcotics and Intoxicants
According to the ruling of the Kabul Province Primary Court for the Prevention of Narcotics and Intoxicants, discretionary punishments (taʿzir) were carried out today, Saturday, 26/11/1446 AH, against eleven individuals convicted of selling, distributing, and trafficking narcotic tablets (“Zecap,” “Tablet K”) and hashish.
The Primary Court had sentenced the convicted individuals to imprisonment terms ranging from seven months to three years and six months, along with discretionary lashes ranging from 10 to 39 lashes.
These punishments were implemented after the rulings were approved by the High Authority of the Supreme Court.
This entry documents the implementation of discretionary criminal punishments (taʿzir) in Kabul Province following rulings by the Primary Court for the Prevention of Narcotics and Intoxicants.
