Implementation of Disciplinary Punishment on Two Convicted Individuals in Jawzjan Province
In accordance with the decision of the Primary Court of Darzab District, Jawzjan Province, disciplinary punishments were enforced on two women convicted of engaging in illicit relations and fleeing from home. The punishments were carried out today, Tuesday, 27/12/1446 AH.
The Primary Court had sentenced the aforementioned convicts to three years of imprisonment each and 39 lashes as a disciplinary penalty. This ruling was executed after confirmation by the esteemed Supreme Court. The disciplinary punishment was implemented publicly in the presence of the President of the Primary Court, judicial members, and officials of other Emirate institutions.
