Implementation of Disciplinary Punishment on a Convicted Individual in Faryab Province
In accordance with the decision of the Primary Court of Shirin Tagab District, Faryab Province, a disciplinary punishment was enforced on an individual convicted of claiming to be the representative of Imam Mahdi and attempting to undermine the system of the Islamic Emirate. The punishment was carried out publicly today, Wednesday, 28/12/1446 AH.
The Primary Court had sentenced the convict to one year of imprisonment and 30 lashes as a disciplinary penalty. This ruling was executed after confirmation by the esteemed Supreme Court.
The disciplinary punishment was implemented in the presence of the judge and mufti of the Primary Court, civil and military officials, and a large gathering of the general public.
