The Taliban have not yet handed over the body of a resistance front commander since last night.
8AM, Baghlan: Local sources in Baghlan Province report that the Taliban have not yet released the body of Qayum Kahgdai, one of the commanders of the National Resistance Front, whom they executed by firing squad last night, to his family.
Sources told 8AM Daily on Wednesday, 12 Sunbula, that Qayum was killed following an armed clash with the Taliban, and that his body remains in the custody of the group.
This clash occurred last night between the forces of the National Resistance Front and the Taliban in the Kahgdai area of Baghlan Province.
According to the sources, after the confrontation, the Taliban launched house‑to‑house search operations in the area and subjected local residents to harassment and intimidation.
It is worth noting that Taliban fighters attacked the positions of National Resistance Front forces at around 9 p.m. last night in the “Kahgdai” mountains of Nahrin District in Baghlan Province.
