Implementation of Disciplinary Punishment on Thirteen Convicted Individuals in Kapisa Province
In accordance with the decision of the Appellate Court of Kapisa Province, disciplinary punishments were enforced on thirteen individuals, including six women, convicted of fleeing from home and engaging in illicit relations. The punishments were carried out on 02/04/1447 AH in the courtyard of the Appellate Court.
The Appellate Court had sentenced the convicts to 39 lashes each as a disciplinary penalty. This ruling was executed after confirmation by the esteemed Supreme Court.
The disciplinary punishment was implemented in the presence of Honorable Mawlawi Azizurrahman (Haqqani), President of the Appellate Court, judges of the urban and appellate courts, and officials of the Emirate’s institutions.
