Implementation of Disciplinary Punishment on Five Convicted Individuals and Accused Persons in Kapisa Province
In accordance with the decision of the Primary Court of Hesa-e-Awal Kohistan District, Kapisa Province, disciplinary punishments were enforced on five individuals, including two women, convicted of engaging in illicit relations and accused of sodomy. The punishments were carried out on 14/04/1447 AH.
The Primary Court had sentenced the convicts and accused to imprisonment ranging from six months to one and a half years, along with 39 lashes each as a disciplinary penalty. This ruling was executed after confirmation by the esteemed Supreme Court.
The disciplinary punishment was implemented in the presence of Sheikh Mohammad Shakir (Abid), President of the Primary Court, judicial members, officials of the Emirate’s institutions, and members of the general public.
The gathering concluded with a prayer led by the Mufti of the said Primary Court.
