Twenty Convicted Individuals Given Discretionary Punishment by the Kabul Province Primary Court for the Prevention of Narcotics and Intoxicants
According to the decision of the Kabul Province Primary Court for the Prevention of Narcotics and Intoxicants, twenty (20) convicted individuals were subjected to discretionary punishment today, Thursday, 8/5/1447 AH, for crimes involving the sale and trafficking of narcotic tablets (Zikap and Tablet K), crystal meth, alcoholic beverages, and cannabis.
The Primary Court had sentenced the offenders to terms of imprisonment ranging from seven months to two years and six months, in addition to 20 to 39 lashes as discretionary punishment. These rulings were implemented after being approved by the High Council of the Supreme Court.
