Local sources in Faryab report the barrage of a woman in Almaar district of this province. Sources on Tuesday, 5 January, state that Taliban fighters yesterday barrage a 28-year-old woman in Almaar district in front of her children's eyes.

According to sources, the Taliban accused this woman of escaping her home, subjected her to a desert trial, and then barraged her. The woman had two children, and her husband works as a laborer in Iran.

So far, the Taliban have not commented on this matter.
