Subject: (Introduction of the procedure for how actions should be carried out regarding individuals who voluntarily and willingly convert from the Ismaili sect to Sunni Islam)

Respected Sir,
Pursuant to the guidance of the respected leader of Amir al Muminin (may Allah protect him), and in accordance with the decision of the historic session held on 26 / 3 / 1447 AH by the Provincial Council of Scholars and Community Elders of Badakhshan Province, a procedure was to be prepared to clarify how actions should be carried out regarding individuals and persons who convert from the Ismaili sect to Sunni Islam.
Accordingly on 16 / 4 / 1447 AH, a historic session of a joint committee comprising respected representatives of the Provincial Council of Scholars the Directorate for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice the Department of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments, the Court of Appeal, the Department of Prosecution, and the Department of Education was convened to discuss the above mentioned subject and the said procedure was duly prepared.
Now one copy of the aforementioned procedure is attached to this letter and respectfully shared with you for your information and implementation.
