This directive formalizes the total erasure of women’s voices from broadcast media in Kandahar Province and reinforces ideological control over journalistic language and content. By banning women’s voices across all programming and mandating reverential references to Taliban leadership, the authorities institutionalize gender-based censorship and suppress editorial independence. The measure reflects the convergence of moral policing and political propaganda in the regulation of media.
