Two local sources from Kapisa told Amu that the Taliban have imposed night‑time movement restrictions in Nijrab district of this Province.
The sources say that the curfew imposed by the Taliban begins at 9:00 p.m. and continues until the morning prayer.
They added that the Taliban have sent their orders in written form to mosque imams, instructing them to announce it to the residents of Nijrab district during the Friday prayer sermon.
According to the sources, the Taliban’s letter states that only individuals who have informed the district police command of their intended night‑time activities before leaving their homes, and whose work is deemed urgent, will be granted permission to move around at night.
The Taliban have not yet made any official comments on the matter.
This development comes as the Taliban have previously imposed similar night‑time restrictions in several other parts of the country.

Notes on Decree

This entry documents the imposition of night-time movement restrictions in Nijrab district of Kapisa Province, requiring prior authorization from local authorities for any movement after curfew hours. The measure reflects the restriction of freedom of movement through administrative control and discretionary permission, indicating the expansion of security-based regulations into routine civilian life within a system characterized by limited legal clarity and oversight.
